Title:
Laboratory analysis of water samples, Winnacott Bridge at Caudworthy Ford, Tamar catchment
Related Party - Individual (Point of Contact): Professor Penny Johnes* (Bristol University) Email address: HantsAvonDTC_consortium@rothamsted.ac.uk
Related Party - Organisation (Funder): Defra
Abstract:
Daily water samples were taken at noon from rivers at selected monitoring sites throughout DTC phase I. These samples were then transported to the project laboratory for analysis of nutrient fractions / species, including total oxidised nitrogen(TON), ammonium nitrogen (NH4-N), dissolved organic nitrogen (DON), total dissolved nitrogen (TDN), particulate organic nitrogen (PON), total nitrogen (TN), phosphate phosphorus (PO4-P), soluble unreactive phosphorus (SUP ), total dissolved phosphorus (TDP), particulate phosphorus (PP), total phosphorus(TP), non-purgeable organic carbon (NPOC) and pH. These datasets only contain quality assured results for the River Tamar at Winnacott Bridge (upstream monitoring site in Caudworthy Water manipulated sub-catchment) monitoring site (WCAS).
