Abstract:
This six page booklet introduces the Essex catchment to anglers. Constable country, the delightful River Stour and numerous well stocked stillwaters characterise angling in the Essex fishery catchment. The River Stour is the area's major river and for much os its length forms the Suffolk Essex boundary. The river is a popular fishery noted for roach, bream, chub, dace and even the occasional brown trout in the upper reaches. Other river fisheries include the Rivers Brett, Glem, Chelmer and can, all of which support bream, pike and other coarse fish species.
