Author: Environment Agency Anglian Region
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
The River Glen rises in the Lincolnshire Limestone Ridge east of Grantham with the navigation beginning at Tongue End, near Bourne. The River Glen travels through the Fen landscape passing through several villages before it meets the tidal Welland at Surfleet Seas End. Most of the channel upstream of Pinchbeck is shallow and only suitable for light craft and canoes. This leaflet aims to describe the River Glen navigation.
