Title: Severn Corridor CAMS : update
Author: Environment Agency Midlands Region
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
This Environment Agency leaflet analyses the Severn Corridor Catchment Abstraction Management Strategies (CAMS). The document outlines how water resources will be managed along this corridor and focuses exclusively on the regulated reaches of the Severn from River Clywedog to the Severn Estuary at Sharpness. It includes the River Clywedog downstream of Clywedog reservoir, River Vyrnwy downstream of Lake Vyrnwy, the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal and the Montgomery Canal. It also takes into account discharges from the Shropshire Groundwater Scheme (SCS). It does not include groundwater abstractions except for any sources adjacent to the river.
