Author: Environment Agency Midlands Region
Document Type: Monograph
Annotation: EA additional title info: March 2001
Abstract:
This strategy sets out a framework that will require action by many different organisations and individuals to achieve its objectives. Decision-making at a local and community level will always be important, but, increasingly, regional decisions are likely to affect the water environment. The Government Office for the West Midlands, Advantage West Midlands, the West Midlands Regional Chamber, the West Midlands Local Government Association, the West Midlands Sustainable Development Round Table and Local Authorities have a significant role to play in delivering our Water Resources Strategy and ensuring a sustainable future in the West Midlands. This leaflet for the West Midlands summarises aspects of the Agency's Midlands Region Strategy and the Strategy for Wales. The findings in this document are relevant to everyone who has an interest in the future development of the West Midlands.
