Title: Guide to the use of control charts in water analysis
Author: M. Gardner
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
The main objective of this report is to give guidance on the use of quality control charts in water laboratories. The construction of various types of Shewhart control charts and their interpretation is described. Any study of water quality, whatever its purpose, will involve the collection and comparison of analytical results. On the basis of these results decisions will be made and appropriate action taken. It is essential, therefore, if the correct conclusion is to be arrived at, to be able to examine analytical data of adequate accuracy.
