Title: The tideway storm problem May 1988
Author: P.J. Lloyd
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
The report summarises the present position with regard to the Tideway storm problem and re-evaluates sane of the potential solutions. The scale of the problem is defined and, overall, the conclusions are that it is difficult to perceive of a more effective solution than the Thames Bubbler option. It is unlikely that further research into the problem could change this conclusion. It is also suggested that there is a need for greater clarity of a future strategy for pollution control management of the Tideway.
