Abstract:
The present study is understood to be the first research and development project of a
primarily legal nature to be commissioned by the NRA. It focuses upon legal and
environmental issues in aquaculture and the role of the NRA in regulating fish farming. It
considers the present state of the law, the use of the law in practice and the scope for
improvements in the law and legal practice of the NRA.
