Abstract:
This paper reviews the water resources of the Anglian Region and the demands upon them, both for abstraction and for the environment. It identifies future deficiencies and the conflicts which may arise in meeting them. A Regional Water Resource Strategy is proposed. Local issues, for example the needs of particular areas, will be dealt with in more detailed planning studies.
