Abstract:
Since 1981 there has been cooperation between National Rivers Authority and its predecessor bodies and the Broads Authority in identifying, constructing and evaluating alternative methods of protecting the embankments in Broadland from erosion, other than the piling solution as was used in the past. This report gives details of the work carried out to date and some indication as to the general direction to be taken in the future.
