Abstract:
Catchment Management Planning involves the NRA working with local authorities, industry, commerce,
water companies, the farming community, interested groups, and the general public in promoting
environmental awareness and making real environmental improvements at local level that meet
the community’s needs. The integrated approach will enable resources to be targeted where they are most needed. This Action Plan, outlines the areas of work and investment proposed by the NRA and other
responsible parties over the next 5 years and will form the basis for improvements to the water environment in the Catchment. Progress against the Action Plan will be monitored and reported annually.
