Title: Cornwall area industrial and commercial waste minimisation and recycling directory 1998
Author: Environment Agency Cornwall Area
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
Good management of waste will lead to benefits for all kinds of businesses, as well as boosting the environment. This directory has been produced to help achieve these aims. There are similar ones for Devon, North Wessex and South Wessex Areas. It highlights opportunities for recycling in industrial and commercial organisations and offers best practice advice for responsible waste management. Both local and national operators have been included in the listings. It is hoped the directory will grow in future years, building a wide network of recycling opportunities. A form has been included on page 28 to be completed and returned to the Environment Agency with details of any organisation wishing to be considered for inclusion in subsequent editions. The directory is split into two sections, the first, beginning on page 9, is an alphabetical list of waste types with the names of operators who deal with each. The second section is an alphabetical list of all of the companies included in the directory with their contact information. Look up the waste you have, note the companies involved and then refer to the index for contact details and more information.
