Abstract:
This is the First Annual Review for the River Irwell catchment and this is the third stage in the Catchment Management process. This Annual Review provides a progress update of all the actions stated in the River Irwell Catchment Management Plan Action Report (September 1995) produced under the auspices of the former National Rivers Authority. This report is intended to be used widely and may be quoted, copied or reproduced in any way, provided that the extracts are not utilised out of context and that due acknowledgement is given to the Environment Agency.
