Abstract:
The general terms of reference of the present study are: 1) to describe the present trends in the composition and abundance of salmon and sea trout stocks in the Rivers Taw and Torridge in relation to likely causative factors and 2) to assess the suitability of coastal and estuarial waters of the Rivers Taw and Torridge for the upstream and downstream migratory movements of salmonid fish.
